The TransAdvocate has documented numerous unethical and/or illegal actions by Pacific Justice Institute backed movement seeking to repeal protections for trans children in California. We’ve caught them bullying a trans kid to the brink of suicide in an effort to manufacture talking points. We’ve caught them committing election fraud over and over again. We’ve caught them lying in the press and lying to the public and today, we’ve  uncovered evidence of signature gatherers attempting to intimidate a trans advocate when she asked questions about what they were collecting signatures for.

Election Fraud
Election Fraud: “Help Overturn Co-Ed Restrooms in Elementary Schools”

Signature Gatherer 1: I will call the police. I’ll call the police on you bitch.

Signature Gatherer 2: What’s up [inaudible]

Trans Advocate: So, exactly what are you working for?

SG1: Go put it on Instagram bitch

SG2: [inaudible]

TA: So, you were saying earlier that co-ed restrooms, you’re trying to prevent co-ed restrooms from going into restrooms. What prop are you representing? What proposition are you trying to overturn?

SG2: Uh, this bag of chips.

SG1: Haha, stupid bitch.

TA: How many signatures have you collected?

SG1: a lot

TA: Now, what proposition exactly are you working for?

SG1: Don’t worry about it.

TA: How old are you guys?

SG2: Don’t worry about that, but how old are you? You already got that.

It is an act of election fraud to misrepresent issues to

“As far as we are aware, this is the largest number of volunteer signatures ever submitted in a California referendum campaign,” Karen England of Capitol Resources Institute*, a member of the PFAS executive committee, said in statement. But Masen Davis, executive director of the Transgender Law Center (TLC), said the 620,000 signatures submitted may not cut it in the end.

“We won’t know the final count of valid signatures for several weeks; however, based on prior referendum efforts in California, they likely needed to submit more than 620,000 signatures to qualify for the ballot,” Davis said. “No matter how this plays out, we will stand with our youth and their families and fight every effort to restrict their opportunity to succeed in school.”

*It should be noted that the Chairman of the Capitol Resource Institute, Tim Lefever is also on the Executive Committee of the Pacific Justice Institute (PJI). PJI is one of the largest financial backers, and one of the leading organizers of the effort to repeal protections for trans children in California.

  1. Rude people, but i don’t see that they committed any fraud. Also, why does the audio cut off the beginning of the discussion? They were talking before the audio starts and it is only fair to include the whole conversation.

    1. The signage is the act of fraud. AB1266 does not = co-ed bathrooms. That’s a lie.

      >They were talking before the audio starts and it is only fair to include the whole conversation.

No, they weren’t. What you hear is her walk up and them threaten to call the police.
