War of the Words

Could we be winning the war of the words? I got this google alert in my email box today:

She was a delegate from Indiana to the Democratic National Convention and a member of Barack Obama's LGBT Steering and Policy Committee.

    Yeah, news articles *are* getting much better with pronouns and trans terminology.

    I disagree with the last statement, though. I think we have been winning the war lately. Slooooowly.
