This is Why Trans People in Maryland Can’t Have Nice Things

Lets see…

and…

and…

Lesbians are generally not the ones using the word “Lesbian” as a shaming tactic. Lesbians are generally not the ones who say that other Lesbians don’t speak for the GLBT Community or for Lesbians. It’s Late-Transitioning Heterosexual Males who do this with regularity. It’s Late-Transitioning Heterosexual Males who tell Feminists who argue against overbroad Gender Identity legislation that Lesbians “just don’t understand.”

And…

Any questions?

Actually…

I hope that a few people have a few questions for the publisher of Baltimore Out Loud.

Countdown to GLAAD saying something about Baltimore Out Loud allowing someone who promotes such trans-eliminationism to write for it…

Oh, who am I kidding? GLAAD will probably give Transpoodles an award.

Nice to see Ms. Brennan finally owning up to the implications of her verbiage. I didn’t ‘choose’ to be a lesbian. It was live in the closet or live past thirty. I hardly think that’s any more of a choice for gender presentation than it is for sexual partners.

Please don’t tell me you actually have sex with women, OK? Enough lying, Sean. You’ve been lying for so many years now, you’re the only one who believes you. Sad, man. Really.

I think it’s sad that you’ve spent so much time policing borders that police themselves that you have no real conception of sisterhood. I don’t care what you think of the womyn in my life, but you’ll never shame me, never bully me, never make me feel enough pain to say anything otherwise.

You missed your chance. Now that I’m not buying your cisheteropatriarchal useful-idiot rhetoric, I’m never buying it again.

My life’s work is liberating womyn from cisnormative power strutures that would force them to be something they can never be. Your activity here only serves to keep sisters buried. Fortunately, though your attempts are so clumsy that they motivate other womyn to pick up shovels.

I do hope that “Cathy Brennan” and Lou Sheldon are happy together. What a waste of skin.

I sat behind Lou Sheldon at the Senate ENDA hearing in 2009.

I’m not sure his exocovering was skin so much as scales.

I think people like to relate some individuals to animals for those who they fear or do not undertsand just to dehumanize them. This is especially true when there is a case in the news that would pertain to that said group of people.

Say, when people made passing references to Gays and Lesbians on their rights to marry would lead to beastiality. Many people made jokes about it and most rightfully so found it distasteful. This is a farcical version of the same cruel joke but I feel because the ‘t’ in GLBt is such a socially discardable group, they’re told to ’lighten up’.

I find it disheartening that GLB people so easily abandon their sensitivities to others who shared in their plight now that they’ve made inroads into acceptance.

Says a lot about their character.

    Jus’ sayin’.
