So if you’ve never met an African American that had a job, would that mean none of them work? Yours is an absurd logic. Hell, I can think of two well known transsexual women that are very petite. Both namoli brennet and julia serano are. And if they were not famous, you’d not know they were trans. That’s just it, those that are not gender variant won’t be clocked. You only “see” the ones that are tall.

The title and content of this page gives me the impression that it’s ok for anyone to refer to transgender people as “trannies”. I don’t think it is. I certainly don’t like it. To me it feels like using the n-word to refer to an African-America.

He’s 5′5″ anyone he dates will be tall in comparison, i do not think he meant it in a bad way only as a compliment. I’m 5′3″ and i used to only date “tall” girls (happily married to a 6′5″ transwoman for 6 years; with two adopted children). I never met a shorter or equally height transwoman in my life. For us shorties everyone is tall, it’s how we see the world. stop being defensive about it. I’m glad he’s out and about with his “friends”…..G-d bless him and his tall amazons….

It’s ok to be friends with transpeople, yes. What is not ok is to make generalizations based on skewed stereotypes. Not all transwomen are tall, but that is a stereotype that he helped enforce.

Good for Daniel Radcliffe, it’s okay to be friends with Trans people. It’s okay to date them and hook up with. What’s the big deal? A guy has his needs….Transgender people are just people, we must respect them as such. If people talk, let them talk…plus tall women are hot!!
